This workshop will provide attendees with an introduction to remote sensing technologies and data analysis, as well as the latest developments in remote sensing and Earth observation. We will discuss the basics of remote sensing (source of energy, sensors, corrections...), data processing and analysis. We will go through the current developments in term of hardware technology and data analytics.
The workshop will also highlight modern applications of remote sensing — from climate change monitoring, urban development, and agriculture optimization, to disaster management, environmental conservation, and infrastructure planning. Participants will discover how cutting-edge technologies and data-driven analytics are enabling a deeper, more timely understanding of our planet’s dynamic systems.
